I am an Italian artist based in London, currently pursuing a Fine Art degree at Central Saint Martins. Prior to this, I completed a UAL Art and Design Pre-degree Diploma with Distinction, developing an interdisciplinary approach to image-making, experimentation and material exploration.
My approach is informed by a background in art therapy. Having engaged with the practice for five years, it continues to shape my understanding of abstraction as a process of reflection and reconstruction. Rather than using abstraction to remove meaning, I approach it as a way of revealing different relationships between memory, perception and experience.
My work is rooted in photography and extends through moving image, digital media, painting and mixed-media experimentation. I work with found and self-generated imagery, transforming photographs and digital material through processes of layering, fragmentation and manipulation. These processes allow images to move beyond their original contexts, becoming spaces where personal associations and collective references can coexist.
Through my practice, I explore the contrasting fluidities of water, earth and the internet as interconnected landscapes that inform my understanding of identity, memory and belonging. I create works that exist within thresholds, between the familiar and the unknown, inviting viewers to form their own connections and interpretations within spaces that remain open and continually evolving.
