My practice is deeply rooted in a five-year art therapy journey initiated in 2020 in Triest, Italy, under the guidance of artist Consuelo Rodriguez.

This period of intensive study fundamentally reshaped my creative methodology, positioning abstraction not merely as an aesthetic choice, but as a vital tool for cognitive reconstruction.

Art therapy functions as a bridge between the conscious and the sub-unconscious, allowing for the externalisation of internal states that evade verbal description. Through these abstract paintings, the canvas becomes a site of transition - a space where the mind is free to deconstruct and reassemble itself.

This foundational practice continues to inform my wider work, inviting the viewer to navigate their own psychological landscapes and recognise themselves within the fluid layers of the image.
