This series explores the poetics of simulation and the inherent threshold of digital imitation. Using TouchDesigner, I translate 3D photogrammetry scans into fluid point clouds, navigating the space where the physical is not merely copied, but transmuted. I am interested in the moment the digital ceases to be a fallible representation and begins to thrive on its own incapacity - forming a material presence governed by its own internal logic.
By embracing distortions and incomplete translations, I examine how memory becomes uncanny. These collapsing environments are not replicas of the past, but a ‘becoming’ of the future; they are spaces where the familiar is stripped of its weight and reassembled as something spectral. The resulting works - somewhere between ghost and constellation - testify to the loss of digital transition, while celebrating the birth of a new, autonomous reality that sits suspended between the physical world and the digital flux.
