In this series, the personal archive undergoes a deliberate dissolution. By layering and distorting fragments from my own photo gallery, I strip the individual image of its traditional duty to document. In an era where the photograph is no longer a reliable witness, I argue that truth can only be recovered through the demolition of the recognisable.

This process is intentionally haunting - a departure from the safety of certainty.

Yet, it is only by accepting this collapse that we can begin to inhabit a new space within abstraction. These works transform the familiar into a fluid landscape where the mind and the unconscious are free to roam. By breaking the tether to representation, the series invites the viewer to navigate a territory where we no longer merely look, but finally begin to see.
